Live and In Person….Or Not?

We’re at home. You’re at home. Actually, you might be starting to get out a bit more than in the past couple of months. Yippee! Chances are after spending so much time at home you might have some new realizations on what you love about your home and what needs some improvement.

A virtual consult might be the answer.

I have to say I prefer the “live and in person design experience” for a total renovation or whole house redo. For a kitchen or bath project, live is the only way to go. There are so many details that can be overwhelming and seeing how a client wants to use a space is best done in person. It takes the time it takes. As a client, you might not even know what you’re looking for. This is where a design process is so important. It’s also where a design professional can be very helpful. And that is what you get with design/build – soup to nuts design. We think of things that you may not have thought of.

But for a single room, solving a paint or furniture problem, art, or even aging in place issues, I can see that virtual design could be very useful.

And for that reason, CDB Home is now offering a Virtual consultation via Zoom or Facebook live.

How does this work?

Everything starts with a free 20 minute phone call. That’s how we determine if we would be a good match to work together, and I can listen to your thoughts about what your project is. That’s how we determine if this is indeed a virtual project. Next steps would be checking our calendars and setting up a 2 hour consult. We do a deep dive into your style, and you’ll be taking some measurements. It all flows from there.

My wish for everyone is that you have a home that makes you happy!
